Donations

Frightinsville is a fundraiser, created entirely by volunteers, using mostly donated, found, and salvaged items to minimize waste, and set an example of how grand-in-scope a production can be, without spending a lot of money on something ephemeral, and without creating unnecessary landfill.

We are seeking more donated or borrowed items to help bring Frightinsville to life!

We asked our creators for their wishlists, and here's what they came up with:

• Cable ramps

• Mannequins or dress forms

• Heads (such as styrofoam wig heads, mannequin heads, etc)

• Feathers (black or white or grey or dark colours)

• Theatre lighting gels (any color!)

• Plastic vines and plants/flowers/ferns

• Color-changing LED lightbulbs

• Fog machines & juice

• Taxidermied birds

• Lanterns (for holding candles)

• Skeletons

• Burn barrels

• Lace or other sewing supplies

• Easy ups and carports and shade structures (even if they are missing the tarps, we can use the frame)

• Black or grey or green or yellow old paint

• Any outdoor-safe lighting (especially event lighting, flood lights, up lights, strobe lights, black lights, etc)

• Wax for fake prosthetics / SFX scar wax

• Cloaks / capes

• Chicken wire

• Masks (blank ones)

• Feathered costume wings

• Generators

• Long extension cords

• Old pool noodles

For things like lighting, fog machines, generators, we could borrow them and give them back after Halloween.
